This course offers an introduction to topics like Economics, Enterprise, Business Management, and Business Finance – helping students to make informed decisions about their subject choices for IGCSE.

SKILLS:

Students enrolled in the EMS course will:

  • Develop entrepreneurial skills by analysing market conditions and understanding the demand and supply of a good or a service.
  • Apply their knowledge to their own entrepreneurship project, from planning through to execution, hands-on, by selling a product or service.
  • Learn how to classify businesses and understand how they create value.
  • Explore various sources of finance for starting or growing a business.
  • Understand how to calculate profit with income and expenses.
  • Evaluate the overall performance and success of the entrepreneurship project.
  • Evaluate the challenges encountered during the entrepreneurship project and recommend ways to overcome them.
